Honor Someone Special

Stanley Park of Westfield's Tribute Program not only offers a way to honor loved ones, pets, and veterans but also provides a tax-deductible donation option.

Contributions made through tree, bench, pet, and Veteran memorial tributes are fully tax-deductible, which allows donors to support the park in a meaningful and financially beneficial way.

The donations collected help fund the ongoing preservation and enhancement of Stanley Park, ensuring it remains a cherished community space for future generations. By participating in the tribute program, donors play an important role in maintaining the park's beauty and accessibility for years to come.

Tree Tributes

Tree Tributes are available for $1,000 to honor a loved one. The donation of a tribute tree includes the cost and delivery, planting and perpetual care of the tree and a memorial plaque to be placed with the tree. All tree tribute requests are reviewed by the Horticulturalist, Grounds Supervisors and the Managing Director. They will determine the areas in the park that are available for placement of trees. The type of tree depends upon what best suits the area. Trees are planted twice a year, in the spring and fall.

Pet Tributes

Pet Tributes are available for $50 to honor a beloved pet. The Pet Memorial Plaque is located just past the entrance to the Frank Stanley Beveridge Wildlife Sanctuary across from the Rec Field. The donation of $50 covers the cost of the nameplate, the engraving process and the perpetual care of the Pet Memorial Plaque and surrounding area.

Bench Tributes

Bench Tributes are available for $2,500 to honor a loved one. The donation of a bench includes the cost and shipping, perpetual care of the bench (for the life of the bench) and a memorial plaque to be placed on the bench. Poly all-weather benches are 5 feet long and are available in three color options. Bench color will depend on the location.

Please note that Stanley Park only has a few benches that can be replaced with a Tribute Bench, no new benches will be placed at this time.

Salute a Veteran Tributes

Salute a Veteran Tributes are $225 each to pay tribute to a service member. Stanley Park is pleased to offer the opportunity to purchase bricks that will comprise an “honor roll” that will be located in the area of the Veterans’ Memorial. The bricks will recognize all veterans – both living and deceased, and will be placed alongside the walkways and other areas of the memorial in recognition and dignity of those we honor.

Each brick in the Veterans Memorial holds 12 individual tributes and will only be engraved once all tribute spots on the brick are sold.
