Heritage in Bloom: Stanley Park’s Annual Fundraiser

Join us for Heritage in Bloom, an unforgettableevening celebrating the history, beauty, and enduring legacy of Stanley Park.

Held in the picturesque Beveridge Pavilion, surrounded bythe park’s gardens and natural beauty, this year’s Annual Fundraiserwill bring together friends, supporters, and community leaders for a memorableevening in support of one of the region’s most treasured public spaces.

Building on the success of previous years, the event willfeature an expanded lineup of online raffles, a dynamic online auction, andexciting in-person raffle opportunities throughout the evening.

Guests will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres during cocktail hour, including a guided garden tour highlighting the beauty, history, and stewardship of Stanley Park’s gardens. Dinner stations and dessert, catered by The Bubble Mug Cafe at the Pottery Cellar, will follow. A cash bar will be available throughout the evening as guests gather to celebrate all that Stanley Park means to our community.

As part of the evening’s festivities, guests willparticipate in the Stanley Park Heritage Challenge, a fun and engagingteam competition that will test participants’ knowledge of the park’s history,gardens, landmarks, wildlife, and memorable moments. The challenge willcelebrate the stories, people, and places that have shaped Stanley Park overthe past 75 years while offering a chance to compete for prizes and braggingrights.

We are also honored to welcome Ward Caswell,great-grandson of park founder Frank Stanley Beveridge, as our guest speaker.Ward will share reflections on the vision that inspired Stanley Park’screation, the legacy that has guided its growth, and the responsibility we allshare in preserving this remarkable community resource for future generations.

Through the theme Heritage in Bloom, we celebratethe generations of donors, volunteers, staff, and visitors who have helpedStanley Park flourish for more than 75 years. Heritage is what we haveinherited; legacy is what we leave behind. Together, we will honor the park’sheritage while helping ensure its gardens, programs, trails, and peacefulspaces continue to inspire and enrich our community for generations to come.
