Today, Wednesday August 16, 2017, we proudly celebrate the 68th Anniversary of "Founders" Day here at Stanley Park. We are all extremely thankful for everyone who has helped bring Stanley Park to fruition so many years ago. From Frank Stanley Beveridge to all the employees of Stanley Home Products as well as the staff of Stanley Park, Volunteers and Supporters over the years our heartfelt "Thank You" for all you did for us. We pledge and look forward to continuing Mr. Beveridge "Legacy" for many years to come. When the 70th rolls around, we look forward to also be helping with the 350th Anniversary of the founding of our home City of Westfield, Massachusetts.
In our continued efforts for wildlife conservation, Stanley Park will be installing duck feeders in the area around the Duck Ponds. Instead of feeding the ducks & geese bread, patrons will be able to feed the ducks a healthy diet of cracked corn and seeds. This will be beneficial not only to the ducks' health but to the overall pond health.
All proceeds from the feeders will be restricted to the purchase of duck feed.
We appreciate your cooperation in this health initiative. Thank you!
The Veterans' Memorial at Stanley Park is dedicated to the men and women who served our country during war and peace - past, present, and future. As Memorial Day approaches, honor a veteran with a brick at Stanley Park's Veterans' Memorial.
