Morning Forest Bathing

Location: FSB Wildlife Sanctuary

Join us for a Forest Bathing Workshop during our 75th Anniversary Celebration! Local Forest Bathing guide and ecological artist Todd Lynch will lead us in a refreshing workshop of discovery and awakening. This two-hour walk meets at the entrance to the Frank Stanley Beveridge Sanctuary across from the Rec Field and consists of guided mindfulness prompts and a homemade herbal tea will be served at the end of the session.

Forest bathing is the practice of immersing yourself in nature in a mindful way, using your senses to derive a whole range of benefits for your physical, mental, emotional, and social health. It is also known as Shinrin-yoku. 'Shinrin' means forest and 'Yoku' stands for bathing.

Limited to 10 people max.
