Asian Garden Tea House

The land on which the teahouse and its gardens are located was donated to Stanley Park by Stanley Home Products co-founder, Miss Catherine L. O'Brien. Her home once stood where the Western Avenue entrance to the park is now. A pathway of ancient, water worn stones will lead you through rare and unusual exotic plantings of alpine conifers, rhododendron, azaleas, and flowering deciduous shrubs to an authentic Japanese Tea House made with genuine bamboo. Japanese Garden peak season: Mid-May through mid-June.
