More Graffiti & Vandalism in the Men's & Ladies rooms @ Stanley Park on Saturday April 12, 2014.  If anyone recognized the meaning of these writings and would know who might have done this vandalism please let us know @ 413-568-9312, ext 100 or 101 or e-mail (director@stanleypark.org).  We have outside building cameras, so we will be able to match these video and photos to the time-table and follow-up with the Police Department.

This being a private-non-profit park for everyone to enjoy this type of destruction (there are plenty more we cannot show) is deplorable.   Your help in this matter is most appreciated.

Stanley Park has a few rules & regluations to help keep this location as welcome and healthy for all our visitors. Unfortunately, some visitors do not follow these rules. As you can see by the attached collage from just a small section of the Park on March 5, 2014 that the requested courtesy to all patrons is not being followed by several visitors. This is a major health issue and we ask for more cooperation (for the visitors that always take care of this kind of situation, we sincerely thank you). We do provide bags for use and a location for deposit....

Christopher was a longtime employee of Stanley Home Products, both in Westfield and the Easthampton plants. He was the foreman of the Brush Department, and a member of the company's bowling, golf and ping-pong teams. He enjoyed attending get-togethers of the "25-Year Club" and the reunions at Stanley Park where he was honored, this year, as the employee with the most years of service. He was very proud of having served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. - See more at: http://obits.masslive.com/obituaries/masslive/obituary.aspx?n=christopher-j-gianchetti&pid=167000969&fhid=25292#fbLoggedOut

We are pleased to announce that "Ozzie" has come home here at Stanley Park. He is now located in the duck pond area in a special place on the island. We sincerely thank everyone who helped us raise the funds for this project, including the very successful "Pennies for Ozzie" campaign. We have installed 24 hour surveillance recording cameras for the safety of all. You can also see live pictures from these cameras by checking our our website (stanleypark.org). Link is on the home page. We would like to give a special "thank you" to Joe Mariani (staff mason) and Jack King (staff carpenter) who helped fix up the island and pedestal areas. This was a complete team project and our thanks to everyone who helped bring this to fruition. If you have questions please call our office anytime 413-568-9312.
